Haya and Layan Abdulla Al Hamad, two talented young pianists from Life in Music, recently had the extraordinary opportunity to perform with the prestigious Philharmonic Orchestra on December 16th in Yaroslavl, Russia.
This unique opportunity was made possible by the renowned Bahraini Maestro, Waheed AlKhan, who selected the sisters to participate in the concert titled “Spirit of Bahrain.” The esteemed Maestro Vasily Valitov conducted the concert.
Haya and Layan’s performance of two piano duets, Waltz from Masquerade by Aram Khachaturian and Libertango by Astor Piazzolla, and Layan’s solo performance, Concertino for Piano and Orchestra by Yurij Polunin was met with resounding applause from the audience. Their exceptional talent and dedication were showcased internationally, bringing pride to Bahrain.
